Soccer

Emerald Youth Foundation operates Emerald Force Soccer Club, an inner-city youth club that provides soccer opportunities for city youth year-round, including: academy soccer (recreational), pick-up soccer (Ginga), city middle school sponsored teams, competitive club teams, and recreational and competitive teams for young adult men and women.

Academy

The Emerald Force Academy Soccer program is a recreational soccer league designed for athletes new to the game of soccer. The purpose of the Academy Soccer program is for participants (PreK-5th Grade) to learn age-appropriate ball handling/dribbling, passing, and shooting skills, as well as a basic understanding of game strategy and tactics. The Academy Soccer program functions as a developmental feeder program for the Emerald Force Soccer Club.

Club

The Emerald Force Soccer Club exists to give competitive boys and girls from U9 - U19 age groups the opportunity to compete with clubs across the region. Emerald Force teams participate in the Emerald Premier League, the Tennessee State League (D1, D2, and D3), the Midsouth Conference of the USYS National League, and a variety of tournaments and college showcases around the Southeast region.

Practices and games take place at the Sansom Sports Complex located at 234 Dale Ave in Knoxville.

Middle School Sponsored Teams

Emerald Youth Foundation sponsors teams for middle schools in the heart of Knoxville. Practices and games take place at the schools and Sansom Sports Complex.

The Emerald Premier League is proud to serve the East Tennessee and Knoxville community by providing a first-class opportunity for quality and competitive soccer action.

Emerald Youth serves children and young people who live in the heart of our city, in communities and neighborhoods such as East Knoxville, Mechanicsville, Lonsdale, Oakwood-Lincoln Park and other urban areas. The Academy league is intended for players from these city neighborhoods and/or children who attend Knoxville's city/urban schools.
